Sarah Raven Lecture-day at Whichford

5 April 2017

Sarah Raven is one of our most informed and inspirational gardeners. Around 80 people attended her lecture-day on 8 March in St Michael’s Church, Whichford, Warwickshire, entitled The Cutting Garden, all in aid of the Gynaecological Cancer Fund.

A beautiful lunch was served in Whichford House and few could resist shopping in her pop-up shop in the orangery. The ‘Grace and Favour’ new and nearly-new designer clothes shop was also in operation. This was one of those wonderful days when the audience went home informed and enriched and, at the same time, £7000 was raised for GCF.

Many thanks to Sarah Raven and her team, St Michael’s Church and to all those who supported us on the day.
