FIVE GYNAECOLOGICAL CANCERS

TEN DETERMINED WOMEN

ONE VISION

Launched in 2014, The Gynaecological Cancer Fund (GCF) is the working name for the Grace Belgravia Foundation, a registered charity.

The Gynaecological Cancer Fund’s mission is to raise funds for research into improved diagnosis and treatment of the five gynaecological cancers (cervical, ovarian, vaginal, vulval and womb) and increase awareness of these cancers.

The founding members of The Gynaecological Cancer Fund Committee are Mika Simmons, Clare Beckwith van Dam and Tamara Beckwith Veroni, who – in common with the other seven committee members  – have each lost a family member or close friend to gynaecological cancer or other female cancer such as breast cancer. This unites the ten members of the committee in their determined quest to make the gynaecological cancers ‘silent no more’.

In 2014 The Gynaecological Cancer Fund committed to raise £750,000 over three years for research led by Dr Susana Banerjee, Consultant Medical Oncologist and Gynaecology Research Lead at The Royal Marsden, into new targeted treatments for gynaecological cancers. £500,000 has already been raised.
